Join Georgia for Democracy as we welcome writer/activist Roberto Lovato for: Politics of Immigration: Bridges, Chasms and The Way Forward.

When: Thursday March 15th, at 7:00pm
Where: Manuel's Tavern, 602 North Highland Ave, Atlanta, GA 30307

Mr. Lovato writes on immigration issues for The Nation magazine and New America Media. Topics for discussion include:

• Immigration and Progressives
• The National ID card
• The absence of progressive voices in media

Following Mr. Lovato's address, there will be a period of question and answer where everyone will be encouraged to contribute. Join Georgia for Democracy for an evening of dialogue, education and community building with Roberto Lovato and other Atlanta progressives as we take a fresh look at some of the most important issues of Georgia's, and the nation's, political landscape.
