Today was a Doug Monroe Day.
First, early this morning I saw Andy Young (heart) Wolfowitz wherein we learn that Ambasssador Andrew Young has stepped forward to defend Paul Wolfowitz. Jeez Andy was it really necessary to even comment on that scalawag? Then I saw Doug's interview with Dry Ink Magazine (thanks for the plug, Doug). And lastly, upon arriving home this evening I found my three copies of Caroline Monroe's CD that I ordered last week. If you haven't heard Caroline (Doug's daughter, by the way) yet, you are really missing out on some kickass music.
Thanks, Doug. Enjoyed every bit.
And for those interested - if there is ever a downloadable sandwich - we should all hope it comes from Zingerman's. Until the eSandwich becomes reality, you can order a Zingerman's sandwich kit tote. Best. Damn. Sandwiches. Anywhere.

Catherine, thanks for the kind words and for buying Caroline's album. I'll let you know when she's in Atlanta again. (I used to sign in as "Possum," but they just outed me over at Griftdrift!) ...
