Local blogger (and BfD author), Shelby Highsmith, showed up in Hillary Clinton's latest video announcement regarding the search for a campaign theme song. Look for him long about the 58-59 second mark.

LOL, that's awesome! I think that's pretty neat that she gave air to the ones who thought that it wasn't a good idea... go Shelby!

That Shelby is something. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll win the npr thing.

Well, and that he won't get hit by any more cars.

I gotta say, the facts that (1) she considered "SexyBack" an explicitly bad suggestion, and (2) her staff can't edit 4:3 aspect ratio footage together with 16:9 footage in a satisfying manner are both pretty inter-lame on the inter-webs. And some of you can't wait to vote for that. Giddyup!

And sadly, getting hit by a car is probably going to be the least sucky thing that happens to me this week. God I love grad school.

Hey, at least when you get hit by a car, you can hit back! Pound those suckers!
