Michael Baroody has withdrawn his nomination to head the Consumer Products Safety Division!. I am super psyched!
The White House had this to say:
"The president selected Mr. Baroody to serve in this position because of his strong commitment to protecting American consumers, his impressive leadership record and extensive public service. We are disappointed he will not have the opportunity to strengthen the CPSC's ability to protect American consumers."
If they didn't love to lie, they would have said, "The president selected Mr. Baroody to serve in this position because of his large campaign donations and lack of competency, both traits that the president hold dear. We are disappointed that Mr. Baroody will have to personally injure Americans on his own without the benefits of a government appointed position."
He promptly had his driver back over a nun.
