Am I the only one who is beginning to grow a bit weary of Jimmy Carter's comments and backtracks? The latest really has me starting to question the esteemed former President: First Carter calls the Bush administration "the worst in history" - which, incidentally, is completely true and justified - and then when the said worst administration's attack dogs retaliated by calling President Carter "irrelevant", we were treated to that trite old "my remarks were misinterpreted" excuse. Supposedly Carter only meant to say that Shrub's adminstration is worse than Nixon's. Hello - Nixon was a national embarrassment on a lot of levels, so doesn't being WORSE than President Paranoid pretty much qualify one for being the "worst in history"? Please, President Carter, spare us this waffling - we know you meant to diss Shrub, and quite frankly I imagine plenty of people are ready to say "amen" to that, and you're not winning points with anyone by "clarifying" your comments like this.

Folks - I'm going to have to play the mellowed out motherhood card -OR I WOULD KILL THIS LITTLE PISSANT FOR MAKING ONE OF THE MOST ASSININE COMMENTS I WILL HEAR ALL DAY!!!!!!!!
You get one pass sweetie - and this was it.
I'm not particularly pleased that President James Earl Carter, Jr. backed off of his statements, but to even insinuate that the White House comments are correct (which is what you are doing) is really just ridiculous.
And in the words of the immortal Gump - that's all I have to say about that.
