Angela has posted the obit for her father on D&E, (Peter was a member and had a D&E profile). Please go read the story of this remarkable man and leave her a comment so she knows we are here:

Peter Trigg, Newspaperman and Yellow Dog Democrat, Dies at 61

I wanted to self-indulge and post the obituary I wrote for my beloved father. In addition to the information below, he was a die-hard Democrat and, along with my mom, was a role model for my political activism. This past Tuesday, when he alarmed some medical staff with some hallucinatory stuff from the drugs being administered to him, he was asked some standard questions (name, residence, etc), which he knew, and they then asked him who the President of the United States was, and my dad, in classic fashion, and growing more exasperated by all these simple questions, replied with a groan: "Oh God, you're not going to make me talk about him are you?"
