Next month, hundreds of young Democratic leaders from across the nation will be converging on Dallas, Texas to engage in four days of training and networking to push forward the next two years of progressive youth leadership.
The Young Democrats of Georgia want to send 40, yes forty, young people from across our state to attend this national convention and participate in trainings on organizing, issue education, campaigns, & youth leadership. We need to raise an additional $2,000 to meet our goal of sending all 40 to Dallas.
By contributing at least $10, you'll receive an entry for a Prize Drawing for travel vouchers to anywhere in the U.S. So why not help foster the next generation of young leaders and maybe even pick up a nice prize for yourself? Go to www.georgiayds.org and click on Prize Drawing.

I did $150.00, but had o break it up into 3 different 50.00 ticket assignments, 3 different folks.. I hope that got through ok...
Luckily, Dallas has all kinds of tunnels and skywalks, so we don't have to be in the Texas heat.
Also, the International Federation of Liberal Youth will be there for their Congress (they are admitting YDA as full members) and trainings. Yours truly is coordinating the GLBT rights session on the US side.
Wonder why the bat is not updating??? Timmy!!!!!
According to what I can tell, since Friday, we've raised $125. Catherine, the thermometer is not registering your generous donation. Not sure why.
