Check out the new KudzuVine show from Sunday. All three candidates for female representative to the DNC from Georgia were on the show last night. Our good friend Page Gleason was the first guest, followed by Barbara Campbell and Mary Long.
All three of these women are great Democrats, but if you're heading to the State Committee meeting this week, please help push Page Gleason over the top! She has the energy, enthusiasm and experience to make the most of this important position, and will work harder and smarter than anyone for all Georgia Democrats. Go Page!
Other topics on the Kudzu Vine: YouTube Debate, VJ's new ad, candidate makeovers, and much more. It's always entertaining and informative.

This is an opportunity to bring youth and experience to the table in this DNC election. At age 37, Page Gleason brings the years of being in the trenches, working in the different capacities of the Young Democrats, as well as the Democratic Party of GA. The years of learning GA. politics, local and statewide, as well as the young energy and desire to accomplish the goals of the DNC, our State Party and move this party in a forward direction.
Please join me in electing Page Gleason to this DNC position this Saturday, August 4, in Macon, GA.

Page definitely has my vote this Saturday! Her energy and imagination are boundless and will be a great asset to Georgia at the DNC.
Go Page!

Page is the most committed Democrat I know. I don't get a vote, but if I did, I'd vote for Page, and not just cause we share the same initials.
When I became involved in the Fulton County Dems, Page was the first person to welcome me to the party and encourage me to continuing participating. Since then, she has been either at my side or addressing the crowd at nearly every Democratic event I've attended.
Page gets it and she's got my vote. No hesitation.
It's time that we, as Georgians, commit to long-time future leadership for our party.
I can't think of a better representative for all the things we hold dear as Democrats, than Page Gleason.
I would strongly encourage all my friends on the State Committee to vote for Page Gleason for DNC
It's great that we have multiple excellent candidates to choose from, and I hope that whoever doesn't get this position remains active in Democratic Party activities. There's a lot to do and many roles to fill.
I am proud to commit my vote to Page. Having seen her work up close in several roles she has had in the past few years, I have utmost confidence in her ability, stamina, and dedication.
Good luck Page.
Bezerko and I aren't voters anymore, but we can tell you that you have one of our two members supporting Page. As for the other one, who knows if she'll even show up to the meeting. She couldn't be bothered for the first one!
I'm voting for Page, too. Interestingly, she's the only candidate that has called me. I met her years ago at the first progressive summit, and have been impressed ever since. I'll send out the ballot according to Maddy towards the end of the week. I hope she's making inroads into more conservative dems too, she's done an awful lot of work at such a young age, and I know she will not only NOT embarrass us at the DNC, but make us proud to be GA Democrats at the national level again.
Turn the page, we need Page!

I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for both Mary Long and Barbara Campbell; however, Page Gleason has the best skills set, highest level of energy and passion, and type of experience necessary to be an effective voice for Georgia Democrats and fill a remaining leadership gap within our state.
Being a Democrat for 50 years is something to be proud of, but wearing that label with pride alone should never be a qualification for DNC Committeewoman.
Those who make substantial financial contributions to the Party deserve our praise, but financial contribution alone should never be a qualification for a DNC Committeemember.
It's time we thought about DNC membership differently.
We desperately need to lower the median age of Committeemembers from Georgia and give Young Democrats a voice on the Committee.
We need a leader who desires to rebuild the county parties, and who has demonstrated that desire effectively. Page Gleason has worked with others to rebuild a local Democratic Party. She has traveled this state and understands the difficulties in organizing Democrats.
Page rebuilt the Young Democrats of Georgia and turned it into a professional political organization with a six digit budget.
Page Gleason won't go to DNC Committee Meetings to slap the backs of major contributors nor caress the egos of big talkers, Page Gleason will go to the DNC to work tirelessly for Georgia Democrats as she always has and will bring home the bacon.
I pose this question to each of you: What if we had a real worker, who wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty - and who had demonstrated that not only in word buy in action - as our DNC Committewoman?
DNC Membership isn't a reward for services rendered, it's an honor and an opportunity to create positive change for our Party in Georgia by advocating for the resources we need at the national level and ensuring they are put to good use at home.
Electing Page Gleason as our Committeewoman would send a powerful signal to young voters in this state and to the countless people young and old who work tirelessly for this Party that their voices matter.
We need Page Gleason.
Page! Page! Page!

I could not think of a better person to represent Georgia on the DNC. Page has worked tirelessly to improve the Democratic Party in Georgia as well as to improve Georgia's image on the national scene for years.
This is best exemplified with her winning the 2007 James Earl Carter Democrat of the Year Award at the Young Democrats of America National Convention the other week in Dallas.
While I am unable to vote for Page, I will be there at the State Committee meeting in Macon to help her get elected. I hope all of you will join me in showing her your support!

I plan to vote for Page on Saturday with supreme confidence in her steadfast loyalty to the cause of justice for which we are all fighting. I have complete and unbounded trust in Page's personal integrity, and I personally know her to bring unmatched energy and perseverance to every possible opportunity to further the Democratic cause. Georgia's DNC delegation is in desperate need of someone who can bring both fresh vision and hard-won experience to the discussion, and Page possesses both in measure not to be exceeded by any Democrat in this state.
I plan to wholeheartedly support and vote for Page this weekend. Not only is the clearly the most qualified, but she has run her campaign with professionalism and style. The same CANNOT be said of her opponents, which shocks and saddens me. How anyone who lived through the Civil Rights movement could possibly make the argument (in MLK Jr's home state no less!!!) that we need to judge candidates not by the content of their character but by the color of their skin is appalling. Electing Page will truly signal that a new day has dawned for the DPG.
