They love him in Chatham. If the presidential race hinged on checks written by Chatham County residents, the leader would be Democrat John Edwards.

No surprise here. Georgia Senators Back War Plan, Cite Progress In Iraq.

DINO Jim Marshall calls Petraeus's testimony "powerful and persuasive".

In an attempt to clear the Flem, Broun sponsors immigration bills. Or should that be "anti-immigration" bills?

  • Someone should tell Jim Marshall that it's better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to open his mouth and remove all doubt.

Damn it! If he can't tow the line, can't he at the very least just shut up and say nothing?!?!?!

  • This is the man I want for POTUS!

His story is inspiring and amazing!

"Hodgman was born and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts and attended Heath School and Brookline High School. When he was 9 years old, he ran away from his home in Massachusetts and started his own new life in Mason, OH. It is here that he began his own church, the First Church of Smiling Peace. Hodgman briefly studied clarinet performance at Ohio University, but his talents for were quickly recognized and he got a scholarship to transfer to Yale. He graduated from Yale University in 1994.[1] Before gaining fame as a writer, Hodgman worked as a literary agent at Writers House in New York City, where he represented Darin Strauss, David Grand, Deborah Digges, and actor Bruce Campbell, among others. Hodgman has used his experience as an agent in his column 'Ask a Former Professional Literary Agent' at McSweeney's Internet Tendency."

  • regarding Edwards Savannah success I was all excited to see Savannah has finally been able to come off some money for a political candidate and after reading the story, turns out it is 19k. Granted that's from June 30, but still, some stingy people over in Savannah.

"You want how much? Well, my seer sucker needs some new stripes, I don't know that I can do that right now, give me a call in a couple weeks."

  • Kroger is running radio ads touting the yellow "sale" tags in the store. The radio ad says "it's like an in-store guide to savings".

It's not "like" an in-store guide to savings, it IS an in-store guide to (alleged) savings.

    I am easily irritated.
