The Bush pool-boy tells all!
If I didn't already have an important event to attend on Saturday, I would definitely be checking out the Second Annual Furries versus Klingons Bowling Challenge at Midtown Bowl.
The 2007 MacArthur Grants have been announced, and I have somehow been overlooked again!
"Refuse to be Terrorized" is an oldie but a goodie from Bruce Schneier's Wired column.

"If every American had to pool-boy for these people for a day, you'd have a revolution on your hands."

There's a pretty cool 17 min. video on the Huffington Post video page, where John Cusack interviews Naomi Klein. They discuss her book The Shock Doctrine. Naomi Klein, Amy Goodman, and Alan Greenspan (cough, fraud, cough) had an interesting discussion on Democracy Now the other day.
