Screw President-Vice President combined debates - I want to see the spouses go at it together!

Just to have the Big Dog return from his undisclosed location (or media near-blackout) would be worth it.

But, if we have a guy out to revive the legacy of FDR, it's only fitting that he has an Eleanor beside him.

Honestly, I'm really tired of all the spouses attacking other candidates. If you don't have the balls, as a candidate, to stand up for yourself and against the other candidates, then you don't deserve to be President.

The candidates have been doing plenty of calling each other out on their own. But then, we'd still have complaints about "attacking" each other.

This is the stage where politicians are *supposed* to go after one another. This is competition, which can be good as the second-tier forces the frontrunners to actually be Democrats rather than just regally waving their hands at admirers as they go by.

I'm more bothered by stupid antagonism ... like when the leadership shouts down Pete Stark for finally saying what many of us are thinking about Bush's adveneturism. That's the circular firing squad and what we really need to avoid.

Oh, I'm glad our two front-runners got the results back from their focus groups and advisors in time to make a decision and take a stand with Dodd.

If anyone wants to watch some good health care Q&A video with one candidate at a time, the Kaiser foundation has sponsored some nice events with video on their site,
