In honor of IRE's comment, I present the following Associated Press article.
The New York senator has said she voted in favor of declaring Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization to encourage diplomacy. Dodd, a senator from Connecticut, voted against the measure last month, arguing that President Bush could interpret it as authorization for military action."It is simply factually not the case that the legislation, as Senator Clinton voted for it, contained any requirement of diplomacy with Iran whatsoever," Flanagan said. "That provision was stripped from the bill as passed, and the Clinton campaign is either unaware of or is simply ignoring that inconvenient fact.".

technically, this is still about Clinton, but I cede the point.
Heh. You're right.
Well, he's right to call her out. After her whole "well, I got duped by those Bush guys" explanation for getting us on into Iraq, you do have to give her a mulligan (as with most other Senators serving that term if you are offering such a thing).
It is completely mind-blowing that with all the scrutiny and the past experience that she would repeat this move.
But, I don't think it's stupidity on her part. I think she really does buy into the hawk view of the world that we need a super-sized army to keep the world on a short leash. It's going to be tough to be financially responsible and socially progressive if the DoD bloat remains (and Mrs. Clinton pushes us into more war).
Grrrr ... great, this is why I hate dealing with primaries sometimes. Croccadile tears from the right about some of Hillary's connections:

This pisses me off because it's something that I don't like about Hillary, but at the same time it is horribly disingenious of the right wing to use it as a (fill in the blank Democrat) is a total phony and hypocrit. See, for liberals, it's a little seedy to be involved with a Blackwater connection. For the right, it is standard operating procedure to embrace the newest mercenary para-military group to come on to the scene. But, they still use this to score cheap political points.
A special place in hell for the right wing as they do this game for all of our candidates. Whether it's Edwards' house (big, but these assholes would sooner put a cigarette butt in their own legs before considering a just society), Gore's house (even as they fellate Big Oil and its freebies) and now this - they need to be brought down.
I try to remember everyone - we are disappointed when a Democrat does something less than perfect. We are shocked when a Republican does something that is not greed-driven, ignorant or callow.
