"New to Being Dry, the South struggles to Adapt" lays out the water conflict without resorting to blaming sedentary bivalves.

In "Top Court in Georgia Again Delays an Execution", the paper of record examines why the state Supreme Court has delayed the execution of Curtis Osborne.

If you check the Sunday magazine, there is also a pretty good full-length article on the challenges of water in general, with the Southwest's traditional problems as an example to the rest of us.
