Near record turnout...Some polling locations in southern NH are requestions additional Democratic ballots, they are concerned about running out before the evening rush....Heard it on MSNBC at lunchtime.

Oops....requesting additional Democratic ballots.

I hope to be wrong, but I'm predicting a closer race on both sides than the conventional wisdom seems to indicate. I'll say:

Dems--
Obama 40%
Clinton 36%
Edwards 20%
Richardson 4%
Kucinich less than 1%

Reps--
McCain 31%
Romney 29%
Huckabee 13%
Paul 12%
Thompson 9%
Giuliani 6%

NH Democrats
Obama - 41%
Clinton - 29%
Edwards - 24%
Richardson - 5%
Kucinich/Gravel - 1%

NH republicans
McCain - 32%
Romney - 28%
Huckabee - 14%
Paul - 10%
Guiliani - 8%
Thompson - 7%
Hunter - 1%

I have nothing more than my "feeling" but this is my prediction:

Dems
Obama 34
Clinton 33
Edwards 22

Repubs
Romney 35
McCain 30
Huckabee 28

I'll take the Pollster "senstive" numbers for the Dems and push a little harder:

Obama 41
Clinton 29
Edwards 24
Richardson 5

McCain 37
Romney 28
Huckabee 16
Paul 8
Guiliani 7

No prediction, but I will say how pleased I am to see this many folks voting.

You'd think the opposite would be true if you believed what "they" have to say about apathy and voter disenchantment.

I thrilled to see that voters still feel that they have power and can wield it by showing up. That's a "surge" I'd love to see continue.

It's sicken me to see that in most cases less than 40% will vote in big elections and it gets worse from those big elections fast.

Yeah, for the turnout keep em'coming.

Oh I forgot to say.. this might be the best part about New Hampshire so far..

Hannity chased down the street by an angry Ron Paul mob...

Starting to have a fondness for this crew, no really, those kookie RonPee'rs..

Obama +10

McCain +2

And Ron Paul will outpoll Grandpa and America's Mayor.

Talking with a vendor in Manchester NH right now - she has more than 20 messages on her phone every night. That works? Really?

These concession speeches are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long!

Make JRE stop..

Ok Obama.. you gotta shorten it up too...

Liked the new tone of Hillary's campaign.

The "we" not "I" tone is waaay better. It suits her and for some reason it's not as pandery as I would expect.

Plus her speech wasn's a lecture like the others.

All I know is that the blogging at Tondee's Tavern last night was super mega sexy.

Good job at TT IRE.
