In Hillary’s corner are Bobby’s kids: Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Kerry Kennedy and Robert Kennedy Jr. Mother Ethel seems to be leaning toward Obama, but has made no public statement.

Patrick Kennedy also appeared today with Caroline and Teddy to endorse Obama.
There is a fair amount of irony in members of a political family dynasty endorsing someone who owes his success in part to the notion that we need to stop having family dynasties permanently installed in the White House.
Ummm…down deep the Kenedy endorsement isn’t about the young voters, it’s about moving the old guard and establishment from the Clintons to Obama.
The Clintons as establishment figures is sort of ironic. They were major outsiders in 1992. They brought a lot of non-establishment people into their camp, and now there are a lot of people in democratic circles who owe fealty to the clintons, but kennedy is giving them some room.
