I"m thrilled for the KSU Dem chapter, this is certainly a great way to get on the map.. or shall I say have the map land on you!

The Big Dog came out tonight to KSU (Kennesaw State University for those that are Metro Atlanta-challenged) to speak to about 1,500 democrats that completely packed the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Sure wish someone recorded it - it was a great 60 minute speech. I saw a lot of the usual suspects there, political officials, and media. Gov. Barnes daughter explained that her and her father were Edwards supporters until last Wednesday - we can see which way the daughter went. Jury is still out on Gov. Barnes, however.
Like the 5,000 folks at the World Congress Center Wednesday night at the DPG Annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner and the 1,500 people tonight at KSU, the Clintons have had a good week in Georgia this week...
I counted about 70 seats per row and 10 rows on each side for about 1,400 people seated in the bleachers, another 500 or so seated in the central section plus another 200 standing in various parts of the arena for a minimum of 2,000+ inside. There apparently was also an overflow crowd that watched a live feed in another building.
I'd put JJ attendance closer to the 3,000 range but still two great turnouts for Democrats in one week -- and particularly with KSU a great turnout in a place that many of the usual D crowd doesn't get to that often.
