Bush's 5th Veto

icon_bush.jpgAbout a month ago, I wondered whether Bush would veto the waterboarding/torture ban. Not surprisingly, the answer is yes.

"The bill Congress sent me would take away one of the most valuable tools in the war on terror," Bush said in his weekly radio address taped for broadcast Saturday. "So today I vetoed it."
Is it January 21, 2009 yet?

I c'mon, once you get to watch surveillance tapes of a dude getting hooked up to a car battery, 24 is soooo tame. You think Bush wants to go back to that?
