Looking for something to do this weekend?

Here are a few offerings:

The Inman Park Festival. Always super fun, entertainment and the parade makes for some fabulous people watching. I understand the Congressman Lewis will be marching too. I would dearly love to say I marched with Cong. Lewis ~ seriously how cool is that!

The Young Democrats Annual Convention in Macon. All the details here.

Cobb County Democratic Committee's JJ Dinner. It's their 20th Anniversary of holding a Jefferson Jackson dinner, and they welcome everyone to attend. But you'd better hurry up and RSVP so they have a plate of food for you.

ahem,

What about The Boss, tonight at Philips? We'll be there. It's been 30 years since I saw him live.

Or, um, YDG Convention?

Or you can make calls into NC or IN

Um... isn't the connvention item 2?

Caroline Monroe (Doug's daughter) is playing at Red Light tonight, and Mudcat is at Northside Tavern, always a good time.

Clearly the YDG Convention should be at the top of the list in bold text :P

Mudcat as in Dave Saunders?!??!?!?

Mudcat as in Danny Dudeck.
Best blues in Atlanta.

Just wanted to say thanks to Catherine, Juliana, and JerryT. Y'all did a great job on the presentation today. It was great finally meeting y'all!

RD, it was great to finally meet you, as well. The convention was terrific. Kudos to YDG for a informative, inspiring and fun-filled event. Jason Carter's remarks were spot-on - I hope all who attended will carry his message far and wide.

ydg jackass of the year winner checking in!
