Ok there I said it.
I was going to wait till Friday afternoon for this post, but after a couple coffee "Klatches" recently, it's seems best to just put it out there. I've shaken my head at so many of your antics, I think I have a filling loose now.
I get you want to have your name on the ballot, and it appears some of you can afford $400.00 but beyond that please spare me your whining and crying about how no one is "helping" you.
Ok, here's a thought... WE DON'T KNOW YOU! We've never seen you before, we've never heard of you, so why should we "help" you? Oh and when I "google" you, nothing but scary crap pops up, or worse (?) I get nothing.
Those of you climbing into the various "clown cars" (*cough* District 61 & 65) around town, really some need to check yourselves and realize that some of ya'll need to stop. Stop now.
Why don't you all spend some time in your communities, helping others, building teams, contributing to a better society? You seriously gain no points with me by running a crappy campaign and sucking the energy from the process.
Oh and don't call me a loser and then expect me to vote in a primary for your dumbass.

Thank you, Juliana!
I know many believe that this is the best year ever to run as a Democrat and that has inspired people to step up. Some may be excellent, but I'm willing to bet that the excellent ones were preparing for just this opportunity.
Like any career path, politics requires preparation, mentoring, training, investment, etc.
here here and nicely said.
I don't want to be called a loser or a looser.
BTW Vernyboy, you are a liar.
Hmmmm ... Mark Taylor (Mr. 39% of the vote) ran as a liberal.
That is news to me.
I agree, preparation is key Catherine...which is why it's quite disturbing when there is a huge need for new leadership and candidates ego's cloud the big picture. If what you really want is affective leadership for your community and someone who will fight the good fight, then how does the community benefit by crowding races and essentially assuring the incumbents reelection. Many challengers that have qualified are missing the big picture...ousting the incumbent.
"Jones declined to take a position on Iraq until he studied the issue."
Ha! The thing's been going on for five years, Vernie boy. If you haven't had enough time to study it by now (especially since you've been a Senate candidate for some time), you have no business running anything larger than a Quickie Mart.
Keep enjoying hammering on we liberals. I enjoy being about ten-twenty years ahead of the curve on everything.
Can we add other names to this list?
Vernon Jones. Vernon Jones for Senate. Vernon Jones Georgia
Vernon Jones. Vernon Jones for Senate. Vernon Jones Georgia
Vernon Jones. Vernon Jones for Senate. Vernon Jones Georgia
Plange... go for it.
Speaking of clown cars.. what's up with the Fulton Sheriff's race, what't the number there? Is it a clown car or are we talking a van load?
Kimmie:
Last time I counted there were 46231 candidates running with four more planning to join.
I'll say it though, Aubrey Osteen needs to get the eff out the race.
k. Chris Vaughn
LOL Inner...
What is it about politics that attracts so many broken down people? It sometimes seems like the profession of last resort. Of course we've got some heroes, but there are way too few.
"What is it about politics that attracts so many broken down people?"
Best comment I've read all year.
Seriously, if we're going to talk about clown cars and sheriff races, there's really only one in the whole state: I give you Walking Small. 'Nuff said.

DUMBASS Gail Buckner who just qualified 2 seconds ago to run against 1st term Democratic State Senator Gail Davenport. I hope Gail Davenport smacks her down badly.
Best new candidate's bio:
"On September 10, 1955 a pioneer was born. A.K. Hasan was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. Like many other Augustans, he lived in the inner city and assimilated the culture of his neighbors on Ninth Street/James Brown Boulevard.
As a young boy, Hasan began to surprise his friends, family, and community with his academic achievements. While attending Silas X. Floyd Elementary School, he was promoted from the first grade to the third grade, completed A.R. Johnson Junior High School and shocked everyone when he graduated from Lucy Laney High School in 1972 at the age of 16."
-- I bet his teachers were in shock and awe.
--"he assimilated the culture - the dude is Black and I'm guessing most of his neighbors in inner city Augusta were Black, so how did he assimilate?
Longest candidate URL - http://www.representativewinfredjarrettdukes.com/
haha and it doesn't even work.
A.K. Hasan has been involved in Augusta politics for years, so he's not exactly "new" to the scene.
This post certainly seems timely...
Anyone fron North GA know Sadie Morgan?
I'm afraid I'm all about someone from James Brown BLVD.. Think of the photo-ops.. lawdy you all have no imagination!
He is "new". He's never run for the General Assembly. He was on Richmond County School Board.
Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
First off I would like to thank everyone who made this comment possible. Those would be the people who taught me how to login. Thanks! I owe ya.....Nita you should know all about the assimilating going on in augusta (or lack thereof) remember our pizza lunch? Anyway I really have nothing to say here I am just so freakin' happy I can add comments on here now!!! Sorry it's the little things that get me ya know...Hasan has run for some offices before he seems to want to "shake" it up in Augusta. I really have no thoughts on him. The one race that I would watch in AUG would be Senator Ed Taver's race against Marion Williams...I like Senator Tarver and I hope that he keeps his seat. He is a good man and Lord knows the CSRA could use some...
wow gunner you are kind of dumb if you can't figure out how to long on.
Watch out im gonna punch you in the throat.
