Sex 2.0, organized by local "non-hardcore" activist Amber Rhea, is next Saturday!
Sex 2.0 will focus on the intersection of social media, feminism, and sexuality. How is social media enabling people to learn, grow, and connect sexually? How is sexual expression tied to social activism? Does the concept of transparency online offer new opportunities or present new roadblocks - or both? These questions, and many more, will be addressed within a safe, welcoming, sex-positive space.Check out the full schedule of panels to find out what it's all about. Personally, I'd suggest one or two of our readers sign up for How Not to Be the Creepy Guy: Social and Sexual Etiquette at Conferences and Events. Register now!

Heh. This post makes me realize that my status as "non-hardcore" is certainly dependent on the context and assumed definition.
Thanks for the post!
Hey, I'm just quoting you. But you're right, certainly depends on the context.
Thanks for posting this, Jen.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Amber, I highly suggest you check out her blog: http://beingamberrhea.com
Her recent live blogging of the WAM (Women, Activism and Media) was terrific, as is all her content. If she's not on your "daily read" list, she should be.
Thank you, Amber, for all the effot you've put into Sex 2.0 and everything else you do.
one or two checking in!
Wow, thanks Catherine! That was really nice of you.
