Thunder, you make me laugh even on my most painful nights. You rock!!

MelGX [TypeKey Profile Page]:

What in the world is going on here? This is really mind boggling.

innerredneckexposed [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Rand has the most Labor friendly views.

MelGX [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Does it matter at all that he's not just flying the freak flag, but is wearing it?

innerredneckexposed [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Freak flag or no he is the best candidate for Labor. And one man's freak is another man's "don't judge me".

Smitty [TypeKey Profile Page]:

you know Thunder has a thing for the freaks. He hangs out with us right? But freaks come on all levels and some are just freakier than others...I'm just saying.

innerredneckexposed [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Don't judge me. You don't know me.

MelGX [TypeKey Profile Page]:

Scandal waiting to happen.

Smitty [TypeKey Profile Page]:

no judging here. I'm you're number 1 freaky fan!

Dude, I have the Thunder poster and underroos (wearing them now)

Mel and Ice's last two posts was the sequence of the year.

With regard to your comment: "What in the world is going on here? This is really mind boggling."

All I can offer up is that perhaps labor wants to be perceived as being irrelevant.

George Eliot's advice that "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" comes to mind. Labor, this round and the earlier one, would have fared better to have wanted to endorse, but not come out and done so under the circumstances as they now exist.

odinseye2k [TypeKey Profile Page]:

I disagree - if you don't make endorsements / give support when it's still a bit risky, you're already irrelevant. Most pols are smart enough to realize if you're following conventional wisdom and the way the wind is blowing.

If you are just going to follow the crowd, there's not much use in trying to make a direct appeal.

It's a tough line to walk - you've got to move the numbers enough to show you can deliver votes (and are willing to take a bet on people moving your way) while not backing people that get so badly blown out that you can't demonstrate any effect.
