Is that a dig by MT that another Democrat in the US Senate primary will "sell us out"? I mean we all know that Vernon is admitted sell-out to the Party - so who is Mt referencing??

What's wrong with MT endorsing a candidate?
I guess there's still some tension by some due to the gov primary. Oh well.
An endorsement by MT is a good thing. Cardwell scored well with this one.
Hopefully either Cardwell or Martin will come out victorious in the primary. After all, we need to win, and those are the only two who have a shot.

Let's get real here, no one has a shot in this race. I sent Jim Martin a small check only because he would be a more respecatble candidate than the alternatives ... not because I think he will actually win the general election.
Mark Taylor's endorsement is worthless. His only claim to fame is getting the lowest statewide vote (38%) for a Democrat in the state's history against Sonny. Even Martin did better than that (42%). Even John Kerry did better than that (41%).

Mel, I too wondered whom Mark was talking about. It was an ambiguous statement, and sort of unfair to Jim Martin if he was not his intended subject. Page two.
Muzzel Roy Barnes. No way. He is one of our fews stars at the moment.

OK Squire. In the spirit of compromise, I'll meet you halfway, especially since Barnes endorsed Jim. But I really wish he'd hush up about the Presidential race. It's not helpful to trash talk both of the leading Democratic Presidential candidates.

"I guess there's still some tension by some due to the gov primary. Oh well."
No tension at all. That's ancient history.

Mel, not being defensive about King Roy, but I do think his earlier comment about the two leading contenders has to be put in the context of his being one of Edwards' most ardent supporters, both in 2004 and 2008. And a day after Edwards endorsed Obama, Barnes said Hillary should exit the race for the good of the party. Page two.
I haven't heard your being referred to as Queen Mel, but nonetheless I have been waiting for you to join the chorus of saying it's over.

And RuralDem, with regard to your "I guess there's still some tension by some due to the gov primary. Oh well," and Mel's response as it being "ancient history."
It's history, but not ancient yet.
I have admitted on my blog that I never thought that Hillary, with all of the negative sentiment about her, would ever get as far as she got in the presidential race.
But with Cathy Cox, I fully expected her to be our first female governor. Watching her campaign begin to fall apart from the time she foolishly dismissed her campaign manager over the Wikipedia posting on Mark's son, and continuing thereafter, was one long, frustrating experience for me.
For many, and I do not include myself in this number, the scars and feelings
from that unfortunate battle that did get very personal do indeed continue to exist.
