John Lewis official campaign launch-Tonight!

icon_flag.jpg My favorite Congressman John Lewis will officially kick off his campaign for re-election on Monday May 12, from 4:00-7:00pm at his campaign HQ at 471 Nelson Street SW, 30313 (near Paschal's on Northside Drive).

As you've probably heard, he has two challengers this year, and rude ones at that. Democrats do not typically make a habit of pushing aside our senior members, and I see no reason to start now.

Please drop by after work on Monday the 12th (before heading over to the Future is Blue), to show this great man some love and support. He's always there for us when we call, now it's our turn.

For more info, contact Ben Spears at: 404-525-2574 or visit www.johnlewisforcongress.com.

you know what, I'll say it...whoever thinks that unseating the FIFTH in command of the caucus (IE: John Lewis) is good for ANYTHING, either for the district or for the party or for themselves is either A) fucking crazy, B) an egomaniac, or C) just a dumbass.

All three disqualify you from office IMO.

Uhm, /threadjack/:

The AJC has a story this morning about a Marietta bar owner who's selling an "obama=monkey" T-shirt. And he's allegedly going to give the money to the MDA. /end threadjack/

PaulaG [TypeKey Profile Page]:

how gross. plus, it's not just any monkey, it's a monkey with copyright and trademark protection. this guy is not just a racist, but an idiot.

Jules [TypeKey Profile Page]:

rptrcub- we call that kind of person a "ASSCLOWN" Feel free to use it in the future!

Good Grief, how much are these t-shirts can we buy them all and set them on fire in his parking lot.
