For securing the required Delegates to win the Democratic nomination for President last night. He and his supporters have accomplished an amazing and improbable thing. Let the General Election begin today.
Watch his victory speech, 'This is Our Moment' at HuffPo here.

Finally. This of course means we all need to get on board. I hope we are all rowing in the same direction - this will be a tough general.

I'm watching the AIPAC speeches and Hillary just said...
Has the healing already started? Honestly, this is a good sign and I know it has to be tough.
She states that the Democratic Party is the way to go for Israel. That a Democratic president is vital.
"I know Sen. Obama understands what is at stake here. It has been an an honor to contest these primaries with him, it is an honor to call him my friend and let me be very clear, I know Sen Obama will be a good friend to Israel."
She attacks John McCain as well.

I love that picture. Thanks Mel.
Note to folks not ready to get "on board" that's cool, work for one of our great down ballot candidates instead. They will really appreciate the attention and the help.

That's what I'm thinking Jules, though he had me at "mustard relish sandwiches." I'm more interested in the small races anyway, the smaller the better.
BTW, good stuff here: http://www.truepat.org/

Following Jules, anyone not ready to look BO in the face yet can just focus on anti-McCain efforts. Isn't there a little book we're supposed to read about what a reactionary he is? Start dreaming up good anti-McCain YouTube ideas, I'm happy to entertain any suggestions (but a little to busy to think of any myself right now).
