A Republican Congressman is showing us up on tech. John Culberson of TX was live-streaming video from the control room during the Phoenix landing on Mars on his N95 using Qik. This Tuesday he had a web-based townhall meeting with his constituents from his office on Ustream.tv.

Those of you with Samsung Blackjack or Motorola Q smartphones oughta get on this bandwagon: Qik.com has developed a video-streaming app for those platforms now. Go sign up, and if you get stuck in approval limbo, let me know.

And who knew that the fist pump was some kind of terrorist signal? I guess all young people are terrorists, b/c we sure are using that fist pump more and more.

Anyone else notice that McCain and the GOP have nothing to run on except attacking people personally around Obama's campaign? Lord knows they can't win on ideas.
