Wow, looks like all of the leadership is on the host committee. Haven't seen that in awhile.
Isn't that pretty rare?
Does this mean everyone is looking at this seat as a takeover opportunity or is it due to the incumbent being a party switcher?

Just to be clear, jac1975 is referring to persona non grata Mike "the traitor" Jacobs.

Yes, sorry...thought that was obvious ;)
Keith seems to be a lovely guy...and he "gets" why being a Democrat is important.

When I hear the name Mike Jacobs, it instantly reminds me of a blog by a certain poster on this site :P

He needs all the help he can get. I would rather have Mike Jacobs than a Florida Carpetbagger like Keith.
He didn't even know that Georgia already had an openly gay representative. He made fun of Georgia because it doesn't have many openly gay representatives. Well, Keith your beloved state of Florida has zero representatives in it's legislature. Why won't you disclose your resume? Why are you so scared to give out your address. What kind business people are creditiors are you hidding from. You are a weasel, and you better count your fingers after shaking hands with keith Gross. Your campaign is already over before it has even started. You are done you turkey!!!

MelGX,
Can we start an annual comment award? We can have categories like, "Most Insightful", "Best Insult" and "Made you LOL."
I nominate:
"You are done you turkey!!!"
for the last category, though arguably, it could apply to all three.

I second that. I also wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

Yikes. How our criteria for determining good candidates have changed!
Capability? Not really relevant.
Awareness of sexual orientation of current legislators? Priceless.

"I would rather have Mike Jacobs than a Florida Carpetbagger like Keith."
Because Florida and Georgia are oh so different than one another. Maybe "New Jersey Carpetbagger" I could understand as a decent insult...
In an era when mobility is nearly synonymous with success, I'd almost be suspicious of someone that stays in the same place for more than 20 years (that is over 20 and under 50, anyways).

A) Mike is from Florida.
B) Anyone who calls the street where he lives "North Brookhaven" is definitely not from the area. "Just outside of Chamblee" or "Atlanta" is what the locals would say.

I don't understand the link, searching for Keith just brings up a list of attorneys who've filed suits or defended them in the MD court.

Dude had an illegal weapon in his car.
Probably had too many people wanting to see his resume. Because who needs to see a businessman's resume?

It's a weird link for me too. Click on it one time and it's generic, a second time and it comes up right.
Same thing happened when I clicked on this link at PP.
They sure do smell something fishy over there about Gross. Or at least they want to.
