New G.I. Bill is a Reality, Young Dems Succeed

It appears that the wrinkles were ironed out between the White House and the Congressional Leadership according to a new story on politico.com.

"I think we have an agreement," said House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.). "The White House was in the room. If the agreement is carried out, the White House will sign the bill."

Congrats to the Young Democrats who took action on this and to Young Democrats of America's Veterans & Military Affairs Caucus who really went to bat for this bill.
