Timothy John Russert, Jr. (May 7, 1950 - June 13, 2008) of Meet the Press fame, died today of an apparent heart attack.
Russert had diabetes and died of a heart attack at 1:14pm EDT on June 13, 2008.

His poor children...to lose him on Father's Day weekend like this. Father's Day will forever be ruined for them. He's the age of my mom. I had no idea that he had diabetes.
What a horrible loss, especially in this election year. I was looking forward to the ol' whiteboard on election night.
