It was the A1 story in the AJC today, too, although I can't find the link for it.

And DeKalb seems to be expanding its lead in early voting! Come on Fulton!

Top 5 Counties in turn out:
1. Dekalb: 78,763
2. Fulton: 59,128
3. Cobb: 44,114
4. Gwinnett:43,558
5. Henry: 27,489

I know, the hours are killing us. Our Democrats just can't take off in the middle of the day to go vote. If we don't catch up next week, then it will really make me crazy. All our Advance Voting locations will be open until 7:00pm next week.

Totally fair... I forget that not everyone is open until 7pm like DeKalb. That does make a HUGE difference.

Nothing like a friendly competition though :)

I'm totally in favor of keeping the polls open as late as possible. I thought this was interesting though: I talked to the DeKalb poll worker while I was waiting in line (at 4:00 p.m.), and she said that it's busiest in the late afternoon, and the best time to come is at 6:00-6:30, because everyone is at home eating dinner by then.
