Get On The Bus

By Bernita on October 6, 2008 3:17 PM | Comments (3)

All hands on deck starts now for the Jim Martin campaign. You've seen the polls - down by 3 points, down by 2 points, and now down only by 1 point here - Jim is kicking butt and ready to take the lead. He needs YOUR HELP.

So get on the bus this Thursday, Oct. 9 at 3 pm and come cheer your loudest for Jim Martin at the Debate in Perry Georgia. Jim goes toe-to-toe with pure evil, err Saxby Chambliss, at the Georgia International Fair.

There will be 2 buses (55 seats each) available for those who want to hoot, holler, and scream for Jim. But here's the deal - you seriously have to send the Martin campaign your name before you can get on the bus. Send "yes" to rsvp@martinforsenate.com.

Details:

WHEN: Thursday, October 9, 2008 - be there by 3 pm - buses leave promptly at 4:00pm (we will return to the same location after the debate)

WHERE: IBEW Bldg 501 Pulliam Street SW Atlanta, GA

RSVP: rsvp@martinforsenate.com

or call the campaign office - 404-347-9766

Oh it's gonna get crunked in Perry - only if you come and cheer for Jim!!

I don't think people realize how great the Perry National Fair Grounds are (and that goes for people who love PNF).

Plus, its always fun to drive to Perry AND to be part of those Union folks from Atlanta is great. It really is, you want to make people's blood boil by getting off a bus, now is your chance. It seriously is a great experience I can't recommend doing this enough.

Additionally the debate is always an oldschool southern barn burning debate. If you can't hold your own here you don't deserve to run for anything in Georgia. Greatest moment from 06 was when MT brought up the FL land deal and said to SP "if you think that land is overvalued I've got an offer to by that land for more than you say its worth" SP: "I'm not going to respond if I haven't seen an offer like that" MT: (Reaches into coat pocket and pulls out envelope) "Well here it is for you!"

What time is the debate?

I do believe it's at 7pm
