This is why I stay on the Move On mailing list. Today I received an email from Adam Ruben at Move On titled: Drive to Florida for Obama. WTF?
The campaign has put out an urgent call for anyone within driving distance of Tallahassee to come in and volunteer. We're setting a goal of sending 225 MoveOn members to help out. It's now or never. Can you drive to Tallahassee next weekend to volunteer for Obama?

I just got one telling me to drive to Chcarlotte. I had just passed Valdosta at the time on my way to Florida. I think this is a ploy to give money to the oil companies by using up a ton of gas.
