Today's Crazy

iconSo, the day after Barack Obama was elected President, a doctor in Pooler, Georgia sent out a memo to her employees. A memo in which she declared war on "slackers" since they elected the "evil incarnate" as president who has guaranteed that her "business will never again expand." She then encouraged her slacker employees to sit at home and "wait for Obama's pay out." Ahem. The good doctor resigned today.

I guess she'll be participating in Mr. Galt's thought strike?

Incidentally, keeping write-up files current is probably good practice. Firing incompetent employees is not evil, it just needs a little justification.

If I got the reference wrong, apologies ... I never accepted the scholarship bribe to read Randian drivel.

"Firing incompetent employees is not evil, it just needs a little justification."

To be honest, I think there are way too many slackers in the health "care" industry. See Veteran's Administration Hospitals.

There are too many slackers in every industry, but what it has to do with President-elect Obama is the point on which I am fuzzy.

Jen,

True - but at least she earned an MD and founded her own practice. Hayes is a jackass that inherited Mommy's textile mill fortune.
