To the BfD bloggers: Leave Ken Hodges Alone

Channeling the Ken Hodges campaign staff and his supporters:

And how dare anyone out there make fun of Ken Hodges, after all he’s been through. The fax machines at Phoebe Putnam screwed him, he tried and failed the Walker case, Andy Young didn’t really endorse him, Sam Nunn didn’t really endorse him, and Sheriff Modena didn’t really endorse but he loves them all. All you people care about is readers and making money off of him.

He’s a HUMAN!

What you don’t realize is that Ken Hodges is making you a lot of money and all you do is write a bunch of crap about him. He hasn’t performed in court in years. His slogan is called “Prosecutor. Not a Politician.” for a reason because all you people want him to do is prosecute, prosecute prosecute, prosecute.

LEAVE HIM ALONE.
You’re lucky he even prosecuted for you bastards.
LEAVE KEN HODGES ALONE. Please.

Georgiademocrats2010.blogspot.com talked about professionalism and said “if Ken Hodges wasn’t a professional then he would have pulled it off no matter what.” Speaking of professionalism, when is it professional to publicly bash someone who is going through a hard time? LEAVE KEN HODGES ALONE. Please.

    It seems like whenever I come to one of these blog-response debates, the Hodges people always talk qualifications and experience while the Teilhet people sling mud. I’m a Hodges person, so let’s talk qualifications:

    How many cases has Teilhet prosecuted? Answer: zero!

    As a prosecutor, Ken Hodges has obtained hundreds of convictions for violent criminals alone. In the choice between zero and hundreds, I know which I’ll take.

    Mel, Bernita, etc; you are all friends of mine, and we fight all the good fights together (IE Hillary). I will pull my load in November if Teilhet wins. We often times disagree on Primary candidates, but at the end of the day I don’t think there is any question that we speak in one voice in support of our Democratic candidates in November.
    We have all had bad things written about us, its part of politics, but I just want them to be accurate, and kept to a minimum ESPECIALLY if its between two Democrats. I believe Ken Hodges is a good man, and has the experience required for the job.
    Instead of Teilhet constantly attacking Hodges, even in his Peach Pundit post, why doesn’t he just respectfully point out the differences, and agree that Hodges is also qualified for the job. From day one he has been negative, negative. Hodges has his share, but I believe he is more ethical in his campaigning and more focused on his vision for Georgia.
