Could help a lot. With all the big names and big money in the Georgia Primary races that took place July 20, some of the smaller races were left unnoticed. For example, in State House District 75, which includes parts of Clayton & Fayette counties, two candidates face a runoff on August 10th. They are Yasmin Neal, a young Democrat currently employed as a detective for the Clayton County Police Department. Yasmin has completed the White House Project candidate training and is prepared to serve her constituents. She is enthusiastic, ambitious, and bright.
On the other hand, we have Shawn James, who by all appearances (he’s talking the talk!) seems to be a solid candidate. That is until we discover that he has been endorsed by Georgia Right to Life. Now, I don’t know Mr James, but I do know that in order to get the endorsement of GRTL a candidate must complete the GRTL questionnaire in a way that satisfies their agenda.
So, a little bit of coin will go a long way to helping Ms Neal get elected. Let’s make sure GRTL doesn’t get another win under their belt!
