You know what I like about Walmart? It’s the same everywhere.

New Hodges Ad:

Oh, I’m sorry that’s some random guy from Missouri’s ad, here’s the new Hodges ad, hope they didn’t have to pay full price or their robots will have to work even harder to raise money:

For serious. It just frustrates me that the only point of argument I’m hearing the Hodges campaign make is that he is a prosecutor, and Teilhet is not. Policy initiatives, mayhaps?

Good god tempest in a fucking teapot. You know what made Mark v. Cathy great? THAT THERE WAS SOME F*CKING DISCUSSION ABOUT POLICY SOMEWHERE IN THE MIX.

    FACK.

Teilhet is arguing the same thing as Hodges – safer Georgia, safer children, and protection against crime, except Teilhet has no prosecutorial experience and Hodges does.

You think those similarities are a coincidence? I think it was intentional. Did the same firm produce them? If so, and I don’t know if they did, I imagine the idea was let’s just graft that other campaign’s ideas on to ours. Kind of like what 98 degrees did.

Also, this whole prosecutorial experience thing is a canard. I have prosecuted 40 criminal trials. Does that help me direct the division that defends the state’s decisions on certificates of need? No, it doesn’t. You know what else doesn’t help defend the state’s position on certificates of needs? Being paid big money by a hospital that controls the supply of health care in southwest georgia.

I’m just saying. If I were a Georgia who needed aggressive cancer treatment, I would hope I didn’t live in Albany.

He was introducing himself. The facts are specific to Ken Hodges. He can’t help it if there is more than one experienced prosecutor running in a different state, but the accomplishments were uniquely his.

    Melb,

No reason i suppose, but your first ad is for introducing yourself to the electorate, telling them who you are. I guess if that’s not good enough introducing yourself as someone else is next best.

But I see your point, candidate as product, but that seems a very political thing to do for someone who claims he isn’t a politician.

Not that I knew the ads were similar before today, but if it works, why not go with it?

    Still, they are eerily similar.

I would like to point out that Chris Koster is Missouri’s current Attorney General.

I recommend playing them both at the same time.
