Boob of the Week

Good morning! What better way to start your week than with a “Boob of the Week”?

This week’s winner(?) is a bit conceptual however it makes sense. The AJC‘s “PolitiFact” gets the honor for finally starting do serious work rather than analyzing a candidate’s slogan for truthiness or other such trivialities that require almost no work whatsoever. Don’t know why it took them so long to start doing decent work but hey, better late than never.

Runner up: The graphics team at The AJC for creating such a stupid and ugly image for the PolitiFact web page.

Honorable mention: Me for going a long time without a Boob of the Week and the writers of this bonsai book I picked up over the weekend for using the most sensationalistic and hyperbolic language to describe bonsai. I’ll provide quotes when I get home.

    Also I’m all serene and **** since I got my bonsai. It is named “Bonesaw the Bonsai”.

    Bonsai is properly pronounced BONE-sai, not BON-sai. It ain’t French.

    Either I can’t find the best quote or it wasn’t as bad as I thought but…from “The Art of Living Bonsai”: “Bonsai lovers are usually hospitable people… Through appreciating each other’s bonsai and discussing the art over cups of tea, bonsai lovers have the opportunity to share artistic pleasure and the warmth of friendship. Thus, the hobby of bonsai has a beneficial influence on society and is able to promote harmony and peace”.
