Deal’s Running…Just Not for Governor

From the looks of it, Nathan Deal is running alright: running away.

First, Deal ran away from his congressional seat rather than face up to an ethics investigation.

Second, Deal has to have a long chat with his lawyer before he can release his tax returns.

“He’s in consultation with his accountant and his counsel on releasing his tax returns,” Robinson said, adding Deal “has paid his taxes in full.”

And now, as Gunner points out, he can’t even get on the stage with Barnes.  He may wish to reflect on how well that strategy served his primary opponent. Or not.

Deal spokesman Brian Robinson said that — fresh off the Aug. 10 runoff — the campaign never agreed to a debate.

He said Deal is prepared to debate Democrat Barnes “from Hiawassee to Hahira, just not today.” (emphasis mine)

I assume his campaign slogan isn’t going to be  “ready day one.”
Seriously, folks, this man seems to have personal business to take care of.  How long can he stay in this race? If he were my candidate, I’d be cringing about right now.

I’m halfway around the world and I can smell the fucking retardation from Deal.

They’ll need every red Chinese cent of that too. But mostly it’s the Sharia law that we’ve now got to worry about here from Fox too, strangely enough:

No doubt, but were we impressed with today’s ad?
More importantly, does it play with independents?

They’ve got to take Deal out to a ranch and go over some flash cards with him, Sarah Palin style. Lets all hope he doesn’t wink at the camera…
