Outrageous

Ralph Hudgens wants to be elected Insurance Commissioner. That we know. What he doesn’t want is to mandate that insurance companies provide coverage for things like maternity coverage, breast reconstruction, pap smears or mammograms. Why? Because he doesn’t need those things.

Good to know who’s side Ralph is on.

Put this on the long list of reasons why I’m voting for Mary Squires.

If the Repug Party thought he needed a heart to do his job, they might have issued him one. But again, not in the standard coverage or package. JMP

I’m surprised he didn’t exclude cardiac surgery since he obviously lacks a heart.

‘Damn them womans!’ Well ancient stuff to be certain, and for sure the strangled errant cry of the usual dastardly insurance lobbyists. Why not create a ‘newer’ product that’s essentially no insurance at all? It’s worked so well elsewhere? So they can charge you ‘al la carte’ pricing for each and everything not precisely specified. Sickening really. Before all ‘them pesky mandates’? Pregnancy was merely optional. Ditto for pap smears, mammograms etc. You had to add it on to a policy to ensure coverage. The ‘standard’ of coverage was a male ideal, hence ‘whatever you got, you should be happy for!’ Endlessly. And it was as discriminatory as it was useless as an insurance product. Except for the underwriters. JMP
