Rally to Gain Voting Rights on Sunday Sales

Wednesday, February 23 · 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Georgia State Capitol 206 Washington St SW Atlanta, GA

Join Georgians for Sunday alcohol sales on the steps of the State Capitol this Wednesday at noon for a non-partisan rally in support of SB-10 and HB-69, the bill that would allow local counties and cities to decide for themselves on Sunday sales.

The full bodies of each chamber should have the ability to vote on this important issue. Please join us to let our legislators know that every constituent has a right to be represented in this matter, not only the people who happen to live in the districts represented in these committees.

BRING SIGNS!

This rally is being organized by the Sunday Sales Coalition and supporters in the Legislative body!

Please contact Zak Koffler if you have any questions at Zak.koffler@gmail.com.

Also this the same day via Charlie Key of the Ga.AFL-CIO:

“Please lay all other business aside and join your Brothers and Sisters this Wednesday February 23rd from 4 to 6 PM on the Washington Street Side of the Georgia State Capitol to support the good fight being waged by our Brothers and Sisters in Wisconsin. You may be thinking Wisconsin is far away and that what happens there or what happens to their state employees has no impact on you, your union, your contract or your future but that would be wrong.”
