This is Sad

🙁

A new Public Policy Polling survey suggests former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson’s (D) career in electoral politics is probably over.

Key findings: After two terms, only 34% of voters think Richardson did a good job as governor, while 55% express disapproval. More striking is that 50% say there’s no way they’d vote for him for anything ever again. Only 13% say they’d definitely vote for him and another 35% say just that they’d consider it.

I don’t think we needed any more proof that the people should not be allowed to vote but here it is.

First he body blocked Ralph Nader and told him he was not welcome to run for office, when Nader is clearly more of a true Democrat than any of the Democrats currently are, and then he stabbed Bill and Hillary in the back and supported Obama after Bill vaulted him to the national stage. The guy clearly has no integrity or sense of loyalty. Good riddance.

Coming from someone who leans to the conservative side of things generally, I agree with you it’s a bummer about Richardson. His downfall is further proof that bipartisanship won’t get you very far.

I don’t see what is so great about Bill Richardson, especially in the State of New Mexico. He sines on the international scene. Otherwise, he is just another American politician. Supports gay rights, opposed to gay marriage. Supports tax cuts. He seems to have some ethics issues… so… Again, great on the international level, but nothing really spectacular on the national or state level.

That said, if I’m ever kidnapped, he can come negotiate my release.

Not exactly sure how he went from someone so promising and experienced to this.

I wonder if all the other rumors and such caught up with him. I suppose he’ll sit on a few international boards and such.

However If I’m ever kidnapped by the N. Korean’s, I’d for sure want him to come get my ass tho.
