Game Change: The TV Movie

I was in the “can’t put it down-but don’t want to know all this stuff” crew.  Others were much more critical.  Now we can go at it all over again when HBO broadcasts it’s TV movie version of last year’s bestseller, Game Change.  Julianne Moore is set to play Sarah Palin.  HBO has lined up director Jay Roach and writer Danny Strong who brought us Recount several years ago.  No release date yet.

I wonder is that movie will be 1 hour 20 minutes of John Edwards and 25 minutes of everything else?

I like the book, even though I can’t stand Mark Halperin. If they do it in a narrative, it could make a good movie.

Oscar-nominated actress Julianne Moore will portray the former Alaska governor in the project, which will chronicle Palin’s burst into the national scene as a surprise vice presidential candidate in 2008.

Can’t wait to see it, but Julianne Moore, really? It’s going to hurt to see one of my favorite actresses play one of my least favorite politicos.

Hope Davis made an excellent Hillary Clinton in the movie Special Relationship.. Do you think they’ll try to get John Travolta to play Bill again?

Just as long as no one thinks it’s a good idea for George Clooney to play Axelrod-I’m all good..
