It seems like the GOP is at war with a lot of people in Georgia lately.

Georgia Politico and The Peanut Post have already covered HB 385.  I’d recommend you read their evaluations.  But for those of you who are too lazy, essentially Georgia Republicans are attempting to make Georgia’s tax structure even more regressive than it already is.  (I know, I thought that was impossible too.)  But in order to give more corporate tax breaks and reduce the income tax, they’re going to raise sales taxes, even implementing new sales taxes.

After all we’ve seen Georgia Republicans do with their majority this year, there are plenty of reasons to assure that every ballot has a choice in 2012.
