In other news, so far as I know, I am of no direct relation to Rep. Steve Southerland, though it does sound like the name of a long lost love child of mine and YDG EVP Steve Golden.

    I hope that some of our folks will read that article and dispense with ridiculous ideas for similar fundraisers.. If the marque names don’t donate all of their expenses, then they are not worth the money to help promote them.

    Same goes for marque political names I keep hearing be dropped for fundraisers. Folks might want to check out the rules on PAC’s and such before chasing the folks who by law have to charge back their expenses. I don’t know what it costs to gas up Air Force 1 but I bet it’s more money than we’d ever raise just to give back.
