Today is your final opportunity to speak out concerning reapportionment in Georgia before the called special legislative session in August. Today’s public hearing is the final in a series held by the Republican-controlled Georgia General Assembly.
I know, it sounds kinda boring and you’re thinking “they won’t pay any attention to what I have to say anyway”. These are public hearings and your voice is needed. Reapportionment can have lasting effects on your representation, funding of projects and services that are important to you and your friends, family, and neighbors, and much more.
Don’t let the GOP stifle your voice. Join me and others as we speak up about reapportionment TODAY from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM. Your input is vital to this process and YOUR voice is needed now more than ever.
