Oh, good. I was worried for a second.

I was worried for a minute.  You know, that God wasn’t getting involved enough with this election.

But now, of course, I know better.  Because right here in Atlanta, this very morning, we heard once again that the Lord Almighty is getting involved with American politics, but this time, on the side of Herman Cain.  But this time, it seems like God is getting more involved, because Herman Cain felt somewhat like Moses.  For those of you that are keeping score, that seems like an implication that God is talking directly to Herman Cain, or something like that.

Now I don’t want to get into some religious debate here.  I know my religious views are disparate from probably everyone else that reads this blog (holler at me if you’re a Judeo-Deist, too, though).  But at a certain point where does “I’m a person of faith” become “I’m completely disingenuous?”  Beyond even the most faithful probably doubting that multiple candidates have the blessing of the Lord Almighty (that is, assuming God even gets involved in Presidential politics), this is just veering into the disingenuous for me.

For those of you keeping score, that makes three of them.  Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann, and….oh…..oh…..that other one….<from offstage> The EPA?…yes!….no…..oops.
