Randomness of the Weekend

Andy Rooney, who recently retired from “60 minutes”, has died at the age of 92.

Lesson of the day: If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

One week from today, the DPG and GABEO are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Freedom Rides, I’d sure hate for you to miss this event so purchase your tickets today.

The BBC has a very BBC like presentation on time zones, if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Occupy Atlanta group has taken constructive criticism from some of the old guard of the civil rights movement, and will be back in Woodruff Park today.  The Occupy Wall Street movement’s original group in New York saw a moving march by US military veterans this week.  The Occupy Oakland movement has found some odd friends, largely due to that city’s complete over reaction and attack on the protesters.

I guess having a 100% pro-family voting record in Congress means you don’t need to pay your child support.

In the LOL department, you’ll never guess when Herman Cain’s sexual harassment law suit settlement was signed…  yeah, if you guessed 9/99, you’re right…
