Well, it appears that the President of the University of Texas  (Austin) College Republican has attended the Erick Erickson School of Tweeting

What did she say, you ask?

According to ABC News, she was j/k when she was talking about somebody shooting the President:

At 2:29 p.m. ET, UT’s Lauren E. Pierce wrote: “Y’all as tempting as it may be, don’t shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we’ve EVER had! #2012.”

Pierce, the president of the College Republicans at UT Austin, told ABC News the comment was a “joke” and that the “whole [shooting incident] was stupid.” Giggling, she said that an attempted assassination would “only make the situation worse.”

Yeah, that’s why nobody should try to assassinate the President of the United States of America, because it would “make the situation worse.”

What situation is she talking about?  I’ll leave that to your imaginations…  but I’m guessing it’s not the jobs crisis.

What might possibly happen to a ‘small time thug’ @ Uni? Well besides being kicked out, (eventually) while happily supporting an ‘open carry rule’ on campus?
They might make you transport minister ~25 years later.

And BTW, what can possibly go wrong with ‘all kinds of dumb’ from a future politico in TX? Past performance indicates a decided preference for this.

Well, this small timer is Lauren E. Pierce, the President of the UT-Austin College Republicans and nowhere did anybody say you needed to care about what any douche says over Twitter.

Gonna have to give you a C- for reading comprehension here.

Call me when she actually amounts to something, she’s still a smalltimer.

So what we’ve got here, is two small timers, talking about another small timer…

And that folks, is what it takes to be the most read progressive political blog in Georgia. 🙂

FWIW I wasn’t upset at you, although this is one of my least favor political games.

My point is that there is absolutely zero reason for an international (hell, even anything beyond the Austin American-Statesman) to pay the slightest bit of attention to this.

          I am the Platonic form of a bigtimer/the 1% of the 1%.

            ABC News disagrees.

Well given that some did in fact shoot at the White House, although the President wasn’t in, it’s a pretty stupid ting to tweet, say, put on poster board whatever.

The guy who did it will be charge with attempted assassination, which I doubt is easily dismissed. He’d made lots of statements about hating Obama, the WHite House, Government etc..

I think she’s all kinds of dumb, and will likely have to resign. Just like all the other dumbasses who’ve said stuff like this before on FB and Twitter. She’s supposed to be a budding political operative-so in fact should have known better. But then again, hum. now maybe I’m the dumb one for saying that operatives are smart.

who is this smalltimer and why the fuck do we need to care about any douche who says something dumb over Twitter?
