Congratulations, Washington!

The state of Washington has just become the 7th state in the nation to allow marriage equality.

The State House and State Senate have passed the bill, and the Governor has pledged to sign it.  Opponents of freedom and equality could try to place the measure on the November 2012 ballot but recent polling shows that the measure would be approved.

There’s still quite a long way to go, but one more step for freedom and equality is good by me.

Anyone else a little disappointed with the 9th? I thought they might mention that this is gender discrimination and thus a higher level of scrutiny.

Still somehow the slowest march since the infamous creep of communism.

The great wheel of justice of course moves slower than most invasive species. With much fewer consequences reported so far, BTW. Go figure. JMP

Nice to see a Trevor post, and on such a happy note too.
