As has been reported Newt Gingrich will suspend his campaign at 3:00pm today. While this isn’t exactly news, the campaign hasn’t been more than an elaborate joke of a book tour, hopefully it is finally over.
Gingrich won just two contests – in South Carolina and in Georgia, which he represented in Congress for 20 years. His campaign has reported being more than $4 million in debt, or eight trips to Tiffany’s.
However, I will miss the fabulous third Mrs. Gingrich with her awesome retro wardrobe, architecturally sound hairdo and life sized plushy bodyguard.
