UPDATE: Jeff has begun a petition, asking fellow Georgians to join him in askin Tom Price to return the money.  To date, Price has refused comment, and kept the money (great message he’s sending, amirite?).  Please sign to show your support!

Another press release from the campaign of Jeff Kazanow, as it is revealed that Tom Price’s PAC accepted $5,000 from Todd Akin’s PAC.  More below the fold.

(Roswell, GA) In the wake of offensive and inaccurate comments made by Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) regarding rape, Jeff Kazanow, Democratic nominee for Congress in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District, is calling on his opponent, Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) to return $5,000 his Political Action Committee (PAC) received from the PAC of Rep. Akin.

“Just as a bipartisan group of leaders from throughout the nation have distanced themselves from Rep. Todd Akin and his deplorable comments about rape, it is only appropriate that Tom Price return the tainted money he received from Rep. Akin,” said Kazanow.

He continued, “Earlier today, I began a petition asking Georgians to stand with me as I stand with women, and I join Rep. Price to do so as well.”

One Response to UPDATED: Jeff Kazanow Calls on Tom Price to Return $5000 to Rep. Akin

  1. Bunny Bixler says:

I really can’t understand why he’d keep it. Dude has $1.6 million.. this 5K is pin money to him. Oh and now that Crossroads and NRSC has pulled out of the Akin race, dude needs it back.

But of course Price is as tone deaf as ever.
